Course Schedule:

September 11 - In Class - Hunter Judging
September 12 - In Class - Jumper Judging
September 13- Practical Shadow Judging at the Pickering Horse Centre OE Show Finale

The session will start at 9AM on September 11th and 12th and 8AM on September 13th. Sessions finish around 4PM each day.

This session runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and in a professional manner.

All participants should bring: 

·           Clipboard, notepad, pens, pencils, highlighter, and stopwatch
·           Printed or electronic copies of any resource material provided to you
·           Please bring your own food and drink, except for September 12th, when lunch is provided.

Designed for newcomers, this entry-level training provides the foundational knowledge and skills needed to begin officiating at Ontario Equestrian (OE) sanctioned competitions. You will gain a solid understanding of current Equestrian Canada (EC) rules and practical insight into the role of judging.

Led by experienced professionals, the program features a dynamic mix of classroom learning and hands-on experience, giving you the confidence to step into the ring as an official.
