Competition Development Coaches focus on improving athlete skills for competition in specific disciplines. The equestrians being coached by Competition Development Coaches are working in one specific discipline with access to horses matching their skill level, competing on a regular basis at national and international levels. Candidates must be working for 2+ years with athletes in the context: Human Athlete: Highly proficient (consistent score of 68-70 or above) at 3rd Level (Test 1 or 3) with the ability to progress to 4th Level, or above at Gold and Platinum Events Equine Athlete: Fully trained to perform the technical movements of 4th Level. Competition Development Coaches are working with these equestrians to refine their show quality riding skills supported by exceptional fitness, psychological readiness and an integrated support team working towards podium success in Olympic and non-Olympic disciplines.
