Welcome to the Equine Care Program Introductory Course. The goals of this course are to help you become familiar with the Equine Care Program and understand how to assess your facility and the horses you care for. Additionally, you will learn about the resources available through Equestrian Canada to assist you in meeting the Program requirements and furthering your knowledge in horse welfare-related topics.

This course will take you through 4 modules including:

• Module 1: Introduction to the Equine Care Program
• Module 2: The Code of Practice for Equines
• Module 3: How to Conduct a Self Assessment
• Module 4: Program Resources

This online training module can be completed from any location with internet access using a computer, tablet or smartphone. While the course is self-paced, most participants will complete their training in 45 minutes, or less.
