Context

Competition Coach

Competition Coaches work with equestrians of all ages entering the competitive world of equestrian sport – at the local and regional level.

Competition Coaches are working with equestrians who are learning to cope with the physical and mental challenges of competition and develop further competitive skills. These coaches have the skills and training to support athletes physically, mentally, tactically and technically as they take the skills they have learned and learn to use them in competition.

Competition Coaches use programs like Learn to Ride to complement their student development.

The following is required

1. Introduction to EC NCCP Certification (recommended)

As the first step in the pathway, this short eLearning module is FREE and your first introduction to NCCP certification and the Canadian coaching framework (approximately 15 minutes).
